I'm interested in a photography session with you.  How do I book you?

What type of camera/equipment do you use?

All images are shot using Canon professional equipment.

 

Where will my session take place?

I am an on-location photographer, and I shoot anywhere with great natural lighting! We can discuss your indoor and outdoor options during your consultation. Once we discuss the ideas for your shoot, and your outfits are decided, I will help you come up with the perfect location for your session! What you plan to wear for your session is important for me to know prior to finalizing your location. I love shooting in the city so most sessions take place in DC because we can have so many different looks without having to go far… cool alleys, an interesting building here, a great textured wall there, an unexpected spot with graffiti. I am respectful of location requests if you have a spot in mind that has a special meaning to you. I do include a travel fee if you have a location you would like to use that’s more than 45 minutes outside of 20695.

 

Do you have images I can view and do they all represent your work?

 

You can always view a continuously updated  portfolio by going to the Portfolio tab on the site. All images on the site and individual pages were taken by Ralph Small Photography.

 

When can I expect to see/receive the images from my session?

Delivery time for images is about 2-3 weeks following your session date. A sneak peek is usually posted on facebook within a couple days.

 

How many images will I receive from my session?

Do you collect sales tax?

Yes, as required by law I collect 6% Maryland Sales Tax.

 

Do you shoot in color and black and white?

The wonderful thing about digital is that I can make any image color or black and white.

 

How far in advance should I book you?

As soon as possible to guarantee availibility. Often, sessions are booked months in advance. Some even at the last minute.  Once you have a date in mind, email me here to inquire about your date.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept all major credit cards through Square.  I also accept checks and money orders.  Session fees must be paid atleast 7 days prior to your session.

 

Do you offer any discounts?

Out of fairness to all of my clients, I do not offer unadvertised discounts. I do, however, hold specials throughout the year. Please follow my Facebook and/or Twitter pages for special promotions.

 

What if the weather is bad on the day of our session? What’s your rescheduling policy?

We will simply reschedule your session to the next available date.

 

What should I expect the day of my session?
We're going to have fun!  It's my job to make you feel comfortable and at ease... and in return your images will show how relaxed your are. If you’re being photographed with your significant other, family, or friends, just interact with them as you would normally and leave the rest up to me! Some of the best images are captured when the subjects are acting and reacting naturally, not posing for the camera.

 

What is your return policy?

Because of the time investment and custom nature of photography, sessions and prints are non-refundable. Your satisfaction is really important to me, so please contact me immediately with any issues or concerns.
